Yep, you did read that title correctly! We spent Saturday afternoon herding sheep – about 40 lambs and their mums from one field, across some marshes (dry at the moment) to a new grazing field.

The sheep are owned by a friend of ours who doesn’t have a sheep dog so asked if Natalie, Katherine and I would like to help him and his family moving the new lambs/mums in return for a slap up dinner – Bargain!
Should have taken my camera but didn’t know what to expect so left it at home….
Oh, the picture is not one of the sheep we herded, this is a sheep in Castleton and is one of Mr Aydon’s former neighbours…
