Just another quick coffee recommendation – Tesco Original Beans.
Nice taste, not to strong and very cheap (half the price of other beans).
Yum!

The next time you make a brew of your finest coffee don’t reach for the demerara, or whatever other sugar product you use (assuming you do sweeten your coffee…), instead try a spoonful of honey. The coffee does not become sickly sweet so don’t worry about that – I’ve just tried it, as a result of running out of brown sugar, and must admit to liking the change.
Just bought a second packet of these coffee beans from Morrisons and they are stonkingly good. Supplied by Taylors of Harrogate, they have a wonderful taste which is strong without any bitterness. In addition they have a slightly sweet undertone.

Sod the artsy description, go and buy some if you can – Plus they are Fairtrade and Taylors are running, in association with Oxfam, a Trees for life project. A win all round
Managed to get some more work done on the veg garden this week. Installed the new fence across the front and moved the new earth into the third raised bed. Next is to plant the lavender and sage bushes along the front of the fence to create a heady aroma when you brush passed them on your way in to the garden.
After having a busy week around the garden and house it was really nice this morning to have a slow wake up. Nat and Katherine went off to the library (and to do some shopping…..), so I decided it was time for a stove top coffee.
In Beccles I have discovered a wonderful deli serving typically deli-ish things – a huge range of cheeses, olives, pasta, pastries e.t.c. However, of most importance to me are their coffees. They have a nice selection of berries from across the world, including fair trade, and you can buy small quantities. I’ve just bought Blue Mountain, some Sumatran and Javan.
Unfortunately Baileys Delicatessen does not appear to have a website for me to share with you, however they do have a website for their wine sales, Baileys Wines.
